  • Thomas J. Brady, VMD

    Veterinarian
    Dr. Brady graduated from the University of Pennsylvania School of Veterinary Medicine in May, 1987. He has been in practice at the Broomall Animal Hospital since graduation, and became the owner in 1994. Dr. Brady has been a member of the American Veterinary Medical Association since 1987 and is a member of the Delaware Valley Academy of Veterinary Medicine. Dr. Brady is an avid ice hockey fan and he enjoys bicycling and reading Revolutionary War history in his free time. He has two dogs, both English Stafford Terrier Mixes. 

  • Erica R. Nelson, MVB

    Veterinarian 

    Dr. Nelson graduated from University College Dublin School of Veterinary Medicine in 2023. She received her Bachelors of Science in Pre-Veterinary Medicine and Animal Biosciences from the University of Delaware College of Agriculture and Natural Resources in 2019. Dr. Nelson grew up in the Philadelphia area and attended Germantown Friends School. She first worked with Dr. Brady in January 2014 followed by a clinical externship in 2021. She is excited to be back in her hometown, joining the team that has cared for her dogs for many years. 

  • Christine

    Veterinarian Technician 
    Christine is a lifelong resident of Marple Township and started working at the Broomall Animal Hospital in 1988. She initially started working in the kennel, but now handles the front desk, runs lab tests and assists with appointments, radiographs and surgeries. Christine's familiarity with the community and the people we serve is an indispensable asset.

  • Karen

    Veterinarian Technician 
    Karen received an Associate of Science degree in Veterinary Technology at Johnson Technical Institute in 1999. Karen worked at several veterinary practices between 1999 and 2003. In 2003 she joined the Broomall Animal Hospital. Her duties include: reception, lab work, assisting in appointments, radiographs and surgeries. Karen is a former teacher which aides in client education. Karen has 2 cats named Felix and Dobby.               

  • Alison

    Veterinarian Technician
    Alison started at the Broomall Animal Hospital in June of 2022, working on her externship. She graduated from the Animal Behavioral College in August of 2022.
    In September Alison started full time and we are very glad to have her on our team. Her easy going personality is a benefit to our staff, patients and clients. One of Alison's best friends is her dog, Linus.

  • Christopher

    Veterinarian Assistant
    Christopher came to the Broomall Animal Hospital in September of 2022. He had been working in customer services in human medicine and before that he was employed at a veterinarian hospital. His years in costumer service is obvious as he helps the 2 and 4 leg clients of our hospital.
    We appreciate his willingness to help out and his positivity is an asset to our work day. Chris enjoys spending time with his dog, Maggie.


  • Sydney

    Veterinarian Technician 
    Syd is a graduate of Harcum College, where she studied to be a veterinarian technician. She graduated in June of 2023. She has been with us since May of 2021. In the time Syd has been with us, she has gained hands on experience and has been able to apply what she has learned in the classroom. We enjoy having Sydney's help, and her willingness to try new things.
